Man attacked with molotov cocktail in Smithtown on Long Island

SMITHTOWN, N.Y. (WABC) -- A man threw a molotov cocktail at another man Monday night

Police said someone tossed the firebomb just after 11 p.m. Monday on Winston Drive, hitting the victim in the head. Police are looking in the Suffolk County neighborhood for the suspect; they said the victim was targeted.

The victim was not burned and was treated at the hospital for a head injury. He is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.
