ISLAND PARK, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police say three people were caught on camera in two separate incidents stealing holiday decorations.
One theft happened in the Nassau County Village of Island Park and the other in the hamlet of Massapequa.
Now, there's been an arrest.
"It's hard to imagine someone doing this," said John Duffy, a homeowner.
Surveillance video captured a woman snatching up decorative light up lollipops that lined the pathway to the front entrance of the home.
One by one, her pile grew until her arms were full.
The homeowner has two surveillance video cameras. He says he never thought he would live in a world where you have to watch out for your Christmas decorations.
The video helped investigators track down the woman they say is responsible for swiping the decorations, 31-year-old Tiffany Fischer.
She was arrested and charged with petit larceny. She lives just blocks away from the scene of the holiday crime.
"She deserves coal for Christmas," Duffy said.
And she's not the only Christmas decoration thief caught on camera.
In Massapequa, a large inflatable penguin was stolen from a front yard over the weekend.
"We were just hoping that if somebody knew something about it or find it that they could just bring it back, because my 3-year-old niece would love to have her penguins back," said Jean Aiello, the homeowner's sister.
With each decoration theft one thing is for sure, the naughty list is growing.
