NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- A tree fell in Newark Friday morning, damaging two cars.
According to the Newark Police Department, a tree came down on Elwood and Lincoln avenues around 8:30 a.m. causing damage to two parked cars.
Police said weather was a factor. No one was hurt.
Emergency personnel were on site cleaning up. The city fell in city property.
The tree also hit power lines but no one lost power in the area due to the incident. The sidewalk also will need repairs.
