BRENTWOOD (WABC) -- A Long Island college employee is accused of taking a video up the skirt of a female student.

Police say 32-year old David Marchese, a custodian at Suffolk County Community College, was sitting at a table during an awards ceremony held at the Grant Campus Saturday when he was observed by a witness holding his phone under the table at 2:30 p.m.

The phone was pointed at a female student who was also sitting at the table, according to police. The witness notified security and police were called.

An investigation by Third Squad detectives determined that Marchese had videotaped the female's undergarments.

Marchese, of Islip, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Surveillance 2nd Degree.
