BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- A suspect is wanted for jumping out of a car and attempting to kidnap a 13-year-old girl in the Bronx.

Police said they are looking for 45-year-old Rahiem Brice. According to the New York City Police Department, he pulled up next to a 13-year-old girl on Taylor Avenue Sunday afternoon and tried to pull her into his car.

The suspect is believed to live in the vicinity of the attack. The teen was walking home along Taylor Avenue when a grey sedan drove up to her and stopped.

Police said Brice, who was driving the vehicle got out, and attempted to pull her in. A Good Samaritan showed up and ordered him to "leave the girl alone!"

When a second man, wearing a Yankees baseball hat, got out of the vehicle and showed a knife, the victim kicked the suspect in the groin and ran home.

Detectives identified a suspect and are actively searching for him.
