ELMHURST (WABC) -- A man was arrested on several counts of fraud after police said he rented a car with a forged ID.

Carl Black, 33, of the Bronx, has been charged with 28 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal impersonation, identity theft and grand larceny. He was arrested by Port Authority Police Oct. 8.

On Sept. 15, according to police, the suspect rented a 2014 Dodge Charger from Enterprise rental car at JFK airport with forged identification and a fraudulent credit card. Police said the car was never returned.

It was found parked near the suspect's home and returned to Enterprise. When it was cleaned out, a bag with Visa credit and debit cards, and other credit cards -- each bearing different names and addresses -- was found inside the car.

Police said that Enterprise reported to Port Authority that the suspect made several calls to Enterprise to retrieve the bag. When the suspect went to pick it, up, he was arrested.
