NEW YORK (WABC) -- Some of the Mets' most memorable moments have come at the hands of unlikely heroes, and outfielder Benny Agbayani fits the bill. He is remembered fondly by fans for one of the most clutch at-bats in team history, one which earned him the nickname "Hawaiian Punch."

On October 7, 2000, Agbayani hit a game-winning walk-off home run in the 13th inning of Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the San Francisco Giants. The blast, off pitcher Aaron Fultz, gave the Mets a 3-2 win and a 2-1 lead in the series before they would move on to face the New York Yankess in the Subway Series.
