2 suspects wanted in subway assault on woman, police say

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects in an assault on a No. 2 subway.

Between 8 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. on Oct. 12, a woman was on board a northbound subway at the Allerton Avenue station when one suspect hit her with a closed fist. According to the New York City Police Department, the second suspect then hit her with a bag.

The victim sustained swelling to her upper lip, minor lacerations and bruising.

The suspects are described black men, between 15 and 18 years old. One was wearing a red sweatshirt and a black hoodie.
