NEW YORK (WABC) -- Some of New York City's Bravest put their cooking skills to the test Thursday night, at the Fire Museum's annual FDNY Firefighter Chef competition.

The event helped celebrate the Fire Department's 150th anniversary of service and allowed firefighters to prepare dishes for a panel of celebrities and New York foodies.

The firefighers were competing to earn the title of Best FDNY Chef.

All donations raised at the event benefit the museum, which preserves the history and tradition of the FDNY.
