HOBOKEN (WABC) -- It was a night to celebrate the legendary Frank Sinatra in the very city in which he was born.

Saturday would have been Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. The City of Hoboken celebrated the birthday of Ol' Blue Eyes with a sold-out gala on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology.

The event helped to raise money for the David Webster Memorial Fund, and the City of Hoboken's cultural events series.

In addition, artist Angelo Cerrone paid tribute to the legend by singing "Happy Birthday' and "My Way" with friends and fans at Sinatra's birthplace on 415 Monroe Street.
