Lodi fire leaves 12 homeless in New Jersey

LODI, N.J. (WABC) -- A fire that spread to two homes in Lodi left 12 homeless.

The fire broke out inside a brick house on River Street around 4 a.m. Tuesday and quickly spread.

A dozen residents were left homeless while building officials determine if the two homes are inhabitable.

No injuries were reported. Officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
