COLD SPRING HARBOR, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect they said flashed a high school girl on Long Island this week.

On March 8, the student was walking to school on Thicket Drive Cold Spring Harbor around 8:20 a.m.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a man drove up to her, opened his car door and exposed his genitals.

The man then called her over to his vehicle, but the girl ran away and told Cold Spring Harbor Junior/Senior High School security who contacted police.

The suspect was driving a small tan-colored, four-door sedan. He is described as Hispanic in his 20s, with black hair that was shaved on the sides. The center section of his hair was long and pulled in a bun.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
