Bronx apartment shooting leaves man dead

TREMONT, Bronx (WABC) -- A man was killed after being shot through his front door in the Bronx Monday night.

According to the New York City Police Department, around 9 p.m., a suspect went up to the victim's Tremont apartment on Creston Avenue, then fired 14 shots through the door.

The 35-year-old victim was struck multiple times to the chest and pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.

The victim has been identified as Rashaun Ahart.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
