Woman with stroller struck by hit-and-run driver on Staten Island

PRINCE'S BAY, Staten Island (WABC) -- A woman walking with a stroller was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Staten Island early Friday evening.

The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. at Amboy Road and Luten Avenue in the Prince's Bay section.

The woman who was stuck and transported to Staten Island University North Hospital in unknown condition.

The child in a stroller was not injured.

The vehicle fled the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
