8 businesses destroyed in Bath Beach building fire
Firefighters battled the fire in the two-story commercial building from the outside.

BATH BEACH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A third-alarm fire burned through a commercial building in the Bath Beach section of Brooklyn.

The fire broke out in Universal Ceramic Tiles just before 4 a.m. Thursday.

Firefighters are battling the blaze in the two-story commercial building from the outside.

One firefighter has suffered a minor injury.

Eight businesses have been damaged in this fire.

Bay Parkway is closed from Cropsey Avenue to Benson Avenue, and Bath Avenue is closed from Bay 32nd Street to Robert Merrill Way.
