3 charged with assaulting Uber driver
3 men are charged with assaulting an Uber driver on the Southern State Parkway.

MELVILLE, Long Island (WABC) -- Three men are under arrest on charges of attacking an Uber driver on Long Island.

Police say the suspects assaulted and robbed the driver back in April while he was on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 40.

The three passengers were heading to West Islip after they were picked up at Gossip Gentleman's Club in Melville.

Christopher Zarcone, 32, of Holbrook, Matthew Divisconti, 38, of Manorville, and Christopher Catalano, 33, of West Islip are charged with robbery, tampering with physical evidence and assault.

They were arrested following a three-month investigation.
