3 firefighters suffer minor injuries in Hicksville house fire

HICKSVILLE, Nassau County (WABC) -- Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a house fire on Long Island.

The fire broke out just before 1 a.m. Wednesday on King Street in Hicksville.

Flames could be seen shooting out the windows and smoke rising from the roof.

Fortunately, the 61-year-old homeowner was able to escape the flames.

There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
