4-year-old girl in critical condition after falling out 4th-floor window in Newark

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police in Newark are trying to figure out how a four-year-old girl fell out of a fourth-floor window.

Investigators said the child was playing in an upstairs area in a building on Branford Place around 10:00 p.m. Thursday when she fell.

The little girl was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

This incident is under investigation.
