NYPD looking for rapist that answered ad on Craigslist

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn are looking for a suspect in connection with the impersonation of a police officer and a rape.

Just before 4 p.m. Oct. 26, the suspect responded to an ad on Craigslist for a half-hour massage at the Linden Motor Inn on South Conduit Boulevard in Brooklyn.

After the massage, the suspect identified himself to the 25-year-old female victim as a police officer. He showed her a gold and blue "FDA" badge before raping her, police said. The suspect then stole money and a cell phone from the victim, polcie said, and fled in a black C-Class Mercedes Benz.

The suspect is described as an adult black male wearing a black T-shirt with yellow lettering, light-blue ripped jeans and black sneakers.
