Krispy Kreme giving away 1 million free donuts

NEW YORK (WABC) -- To celebrate the opening of its 1,000th shop on Tuesday, Krispy Kreme is giving away one glazed donut to the first 1,000 customers in each location.

Krispy Kreme is opening a new store in Kansas, but donut lovers around the world are being given a chance to celebrate. The donut chain is giving away 1,000 glazed treats at each of its shops Tuesday.

The Kansas City location is Krispy Kreme's 1,000th shop. To thank customers, the chain is giving each customer one free glazed donut.
