Construction worker killed in accident at Barclays Center

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- There's an investigation in Brooklyn into a deadly construction accident at the Barclays Center.

Police say an iron worker was killed Tuesday afternoon after being crushed by a steel joist that rolled off of a truck.

It happened during the installation of the green roof on the arena.

It's still not clear what caused the joists to roll off the truck.
