Brick homeowner stabbed during home invasion burglary
BRICK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man who stabbed a homeowner during a burglary in Brick Township, New Jersey, over the weekend.
The incident happened in the area of Stephen Road and Burnt Tavern Road around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say the homeowner confronted the suspect, at which point he was stabbed in the leg with an unknown object.
The suspect then fled in a dark-colored medium-sized SUV with a New Jersey partial tag of Y8L-.
The vehicle has white or chrome on the bottom portion of the vehicle.
The suspect is described as being in his late 20s, and is between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9.
