Helicopter makes emergency landing on Long Island street

SAYVILLE (WABC) -- A helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon on Long Island.

The chopper landed just after 5:30 p.m. on Browns River Road in Sayville, just east of the Sayville Ferry docks.

The pilot made the landing because of weather concerns.

There was one passenger aboard. No one was hurt.

The road the chopper landed on IS not heavily populated.
