Fatal wreck closes Northern State Parkway in Roslyn

ROSLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- One person was killed overnight in a two-car crash on the eastbound Northern State Parkway in Roslyn.

Five people in two cars, a BMW and a Chevy Malibu, were involved. The driver of the BMW was pronounced dead on the scene, and four people were taken to Winthrop and North Shore Manhasset hospitals.

According to New York State Police, the wreck between exits 30 and 31 closed all lanes on the road.

The road was closed in both directions, but have since been reopened.
