11 hurt, recovering after in multi-vehicle accident in Harlem

HARLEM (WABC) -- Eleven people were recovering Saturday morning after a multi-vehicle, chain-reaction wreck in Harlem.

Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, the driver of a van apparently ran through a red light at West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue, witnesses said, causing a wreck involving three cars and a motorcycle.

Five of the 11 people hurt had serious injuries. None of the injuries are considered life threatening.

Patients were taken to St Luke's Hospital and Lincoln Hospital.
