Donation jar stolen from Long Island auto body shop in Lindenhurst

LINDENHURST, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect who took a donation jar from an auto repair shop in Suffolk County.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, on the morning of March 10, a man entered King Bear Auto Service Centers off Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst and stole a donation jar that contained $108.

The donations were being collected by the Girl Scouts for members of the military stationed overseas.
