School bus and car collide in the Soundview section of the Bronx; 1 injured

SOUNDVIEW (WABC) -- A school bus collided with an SUV in the Soundview section of the Bronx Monday morning.

The vehicles crashed at Boynton and Story avenues just before 6:15 a.m., when authorities say the SUV crossed into the path of the bus.

The bus driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a minor injury.

No passengers were on the bus at the time.

The SUV driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.

Story Avenue was shut down at the scene.
