Suspect sought in headlock robbery, home invasion in Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect they said grabbed a 79-year-old woman in a headlock and robbed her.

Around 6 p.m. on April 7, the suspect entered an apartment on East 163rd Street by forcing his way inside after knocking on the door, according to the New York City Police Department.

He forced a 43-year-old woman onto the floor, police said. Then, he put a 79-year-old woman into a headlock, and took her necklace and earrings. The suspect also took a necklace and bracelet from the other victim, police said.

The 43-year-old's bracelet was recovered once the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 200 pounds with black hair.
