KINNELON, N.J. -- A New Jersey woman pulled from a wreck before her car burst into flames has been charged with driving drunk.

NJ.com reports that 45-year-old Dawn Milosky is charged with DWI, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and related offenses.

Police say she flipped her car into a culvert Thursday in Kinnelon and it started smoking. Police found Milosky still in the car and pulled her to safety before fire engulfed it.

Authorities say she was flown to a hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.

Milosky remains in the hospital. It's unclear if she has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
