Five cars damaged by vandals in Islandia

Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating an incident during which five vehicles were damaged at an Islandia business on Sunday.

Authorities say an unknown person or people jumped over a chain-link fence to enter the premise of Bancker Construction Corporation, located at 218 Blydenburgh Road, on April 19 sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Once inside the yard, the suspect and/or suspects painted graffiti on a GMC pickup truck, a storage trailer and on pavement.

A Subaru Forester was driven into a Peterbilt vehicle, while a second Subaru Forester was driven into a pile of steel beams.

A second GMC pickup truck was driven through a fence.
