PORT JEFFERSON, N.Y. -- A Long Island neurologist is accused of inappropriately touching a female patient.

Suffolk County police say Jacob Mathew faces charges of forcible touching.

The alleged incident occurred while the patient was being treated at the doctor's Port Jefferson office in February.

He was arrested on Wednesday.

It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
