Woman, teen bystanders shot by man on bike in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A woman and a teenage girl were shot in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened while the victims, believed to be bystanders, were in front of 45 Parade Place, across the street from the Prospect Park Parade grounds.

A 14-year-old girl was shot in the leg, while a 38-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder.

Both were taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting happened right near a police tower and a daycare center, which has residents very concerned.

So far, no one is in custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
