Armed robber targets bodega in Mott Haven section of Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Mott Haven bodega.

Around 10:30 Feb. 26, the suspect went into a bodega at 148 Bruckner Blvd. He asked the victim where to buy marijuana.

When the victim told the suspect he didn't know, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim and told him to hand over everything he had. The victim gave the suspect an iPhone, ID and his debit card along with the PIN.

The suspect fled. He tried to use the debit card around 11:30 p.m., but it was declined.

He was caught on surveillance camera trying to use the card in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue.
