The Ocean County Mall was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Wednesday.

Around 7 p.m., a call was received by office staff at the mall at 1201 Hooper Ave. in Toms River. The caller said there was a bomb inside the building. Police evacuated the mall, and a explosive sniffing K9 task force searched the mall. The building was deemed safe around midnight, said Toms River Police Department.

No injuries have been reported.

The towns of Deptford and Plainsboro had similar occurrences at a mall and a hospital around the same time.
