Man in critical condition after being struck by van on Upper West Side

UPPER WEST SIDE (WABC) -- A man is in critical condition after being struck by a van on the Upper West Side.

The 59-year-old victim was struck while crossing at 62nd and Broadway around 8 p.m. Monday. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.

Police say the accident does not appear to be criminal, and that the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
