Bring out the shades and get ready for some summer fun!

PART 4

The program is hosted by Eyewitness News meteorologist Amy Freeze, who shows us some popular destinations and those off the beaten path. Among the highlights; Palisades Interstate Park, 2500 acres of hiking trails, picnic areas and gorgeous Hudson River vistas just a short drive north of Manhattan. Also on the Hudson, it's all hands and appetites on deck when you take a cruise on North River Lobster Company's floating lobster shack and enjoy fresh seafood and fabulous views.

Since no summer is complete without a cookout, we've got some tips on how to make yours a healthy one with organic turkey burgers and hot dogs complete with recipes for creative, low calorie toppings.

To help keep you in a fitness frame of mind, we'll tell you about some of the fun, free outdoor workouts around town, from yoga in Brooklyn to Tai Chi in Queens. There's plenty more to do in Queens too, as we take a closer look at the city's largest and most ethnically diverse borough. Recently, named a top tourist destination, we'll visit many of the cultural enclaves, art hot spots and check out the surfing life at Rockaway Beach.

For music, dance and theater fans, Lincoln Center has something for everybody with a wide range of events all summer long. Nearby in Central Park, we take a look at this year's offering from the Public Theater's free Shakespeare in the Park, an annual rite of summer.

Also, for those of you looking for a day trip adventure, there's New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure with its animal safari park and an exhilarating new ride, "El Diablo," sure to get your adrenaline pumping for the entire season.
