77-year old woman killed in Southold, Long Island house fire

SOUTHOLD (WABC) -- A 77 year old woman died Wednesday morning in a small fire in her home in Southold.

The woman was alone, sitting in a chair on the first floor of the house on Willow Pond Lane. A wheelchair was found nearby.

The small 10:30 a.m. fire was not suspicious.

An alarm company alerted police to the house fire.
