Truck hits overpass in Rosedale, Queens

ROSEDALE (WABC) -- A truck hit an overpass in Queens, causing LIRR to slow train speeds.

The incident occurred at Brookville Boulevard in Rosedale around 1 p.m. Thursday.

LIRR trains were under a slow speed order from 1:07 until 2:13 p.m., but are now back to normal.

The bridge was inspected, and no structural issues were found. The truck was moved from the scene, but residual cleanup may keep things slow in both directions on the Belt Parkway at Conduit Ave.
