8-year-old boy rescued from giant sinkhole in California

VICTORVILLE, California (WABC) -- There's new video of a dramatic rescue of a little boy who tumbled down a sinkhole in California.

Firefighters pulled the 8-year-old out of the hole after dropping a rope down to him, he fell about 15 feet.

Concerned neighbors and onlookers applauded as the boy was pulled to safety.

He was not seriously hurt in the accident and even managed to walk away on his own from the scene.
