Reward offered after dog abandoned in Brooklyn trash can

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Police are looking for the person responsible for dumping a dog into a trash bin in Brooklyn, and a reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

The pooch was found inside a trash can on the northeast corner of East 210th Street and Bainbridge Avenue around 1 p.m. on April 5.

He was found to be malnourished and dehydrated.

Now, a reward of up to $2,500 is being offered upon an arrest and indictment on animal cruelty charges.
