Teachers aide accused of inappropriately touching teen on Williamsburg playground

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- An off-duty teachers aide was charged with inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl with Down syndrome at a Brooklyn playground.

Jesus Lorenzo, 69, is accused of touching the girl at the De Hostos Playground on Harrison Avenue at 11 a.m. Thursday. Police said they were called by someone who said they witnessed the incident.

Lorenzo was charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual conduct of a minor.

He works at Intermediate School 318 in Williamsburg, and knew the girl from the school.
