NEW YORK (WABC) -- New Jersey Transit is still experiencing delays of up to an hour because of problems with overhead power wires that caused a train to get stuck in a tunnel on Monday evening.

The train had to be cleared from the North River tunnel as Penn Station got packed with stranded commuters.

New Jersey Transit says PATH and buses at Port Authority are cross-honoring tickets.

Things are expected to be back to normal by the morning commute.
