RARITAN, N.J. (WABC) -- A New Jersey middle school teacher is facing federal charges after police said they found images showing sexually explicit images of children on his home computer.

FBI agents arrested 30-year-old Cliff Ramsay, of Raritan in Somerset County, Tuesday morning.

The criminal complaint said that twice in February, Ramsay accessed a website known to contain child pornography. During a search of Ramsay's home Tuesday, officers found "numerous videos and images of child sexual abuse on his computer, including material depicting prepubescent minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct."

The complaint stated that Ramsay was a middle school music teacher who also gave lessons to minors at his home. He taught at Readington Middle School.

He's facing two charges: One count of accessing images of child sexual abuse and one count of possessing images of child sexual abuse.

Ramsay appeared in court Tuesday and is being held pending a bail hearing.
