EAST ORANGE (WABC) -- A man is dead and his domestic partner under arrest after a fatal stabbing in New Jersey.
The victim was identified as Khalil A. Booker, 27, of East Orange.
East Orange police responded to a home on the 200 block of 19th Street on a report of a man suffering from a stab wound just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived, they found Booker on the ground with a stab wound. He was transferred to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:29 pm.
His domestic partner, 25-year-old Amina Ragin, was taken into custody and was arrested by detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
She is charged with aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses and is being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark on $200,000 bail.
