A 34-year-old woman and her 9-month-old son were struck by a van as they attempted to cross Cropsey Avenue in Bensonhurst Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at 12:53 p.m. at the intersection of Cropsey and Bay Parkway.
Police say a 28-year-old man was driving a white van south on Bay Parkway and made a right turn onto Cropsey, striking the two pedestrians.
The van stayed at the scene.
The victims were both taken to Lutheran Medical Center in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The mom had cuts to her face and some pain in her leg, and the little boy had a cut on his head.
The driver remained at the scene.
The investigation continues, but no criminality is suspected.
