Man found shot to death in parking lot near beach in New Jersey

ABERDEEN, N.J. (WABC) -- Authorities are investigating after a man was fatally shot Sunday night in Cliffwood Beach, a section of Aberdeen, a Jersey Shore town on the Monmouth County border.

The shooting was around 8 p.m. in a parking lot area just off the beach in the area of Ocean Boulevard.

Police say the victim was 22-year old William Karecki of Old Bridge.

The victim's identity has not yet been released.

There have been no arrests and the motive is not known.
