Police hunt for armed robber who held up Fishkill, New York gas station

Cops say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

FISHKILL, N.Y. (WABC) -- New York State Police are on the lookout for an armed roober who held up a gas station in the Dutchess County village of Fishkill early Monday.

Investigators say the suspect entered the Gulf Express gas station located at 733 Route 9 just after 1:30 AM. They say he brandished what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have released surveillance pictures of the suspect, who is described as a white male, approximately six-feet tall and average build.

He was wearing a black jacket with a gray hood, a mask, sunglasses, gloves, black pants and sneakers.
