At least a dozen hurt in crash on Manhattan Bridge

CHINATOWN (WABC) -- At least a dozen people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident involving a Correction Department bus on the Manhattan Bridge Monday morning.

The bus crashed on the Manhattan side of the bridge just after 8:15 a.m.

Up to 14 people were being treated for minor injuries.

Most of the injured were believed to be on the Correction Department bus.

All of the injuries are considered minor.

Traffic was backed up around the bridge for some time after the accident.
