Thieves smashed their way into a Victoria's Secret Pink store in Rice Village and made off with an unknown amount of store merchandise.

HOUSTON -- Houston police are looking for thieves who broke into a Victoria's Secret store in Rice Village early this morning.

The "Pink" store located on the 2400 block of University Boulevard and was the latest business to be hit by smash and grab thieves in Houston.

The incident happened around 3:45am. A witness, who asked not to be identified, tells Eyewitness News that she heard what sounded like a terrible car crash. The witness says she looked out her window and saw a 90s model silver van inside the neighboring store. She said she heard more than two men talking inside the store.

"It sounded like they knew what they were after. Like they knew what they wanted. It was like a movie. Like the film 'Set It Off.' It happened pretty fast," the witness said.

Another witness describes the items stolen as "Hot Topic" brand merchandise and other lingerie with Houston Texans logos.

Police are still investigating.
