SCARSDALE (WABC) -- Three women are still recovering at the hospital after Saturday's deadly limo crash in Cutchogue. One of those survivors is 23-year-old Melissa Crai, who is from Scarsdale. Her neighbors are all praying for her recovery. As of Monday night, Crai was listed in fair condition at Stony Brook.

"They're devastated - we're all devastated," said Chrissy Magardino.

Eyewitness News talked with Magardino as she went to check with Crai's family on her condition.

"My daughter grew up with Melissa, and Melissa grew up with us - and the whole family, they're such wonderful people," Magardino adds.

Now the family is rocked after police say the limo Crai was riding in with seven other girlfriends was hit by a drunk driver, killing 4 of Crai's friends.

"Here they were avoiding a drunk driving situation, and then they were killed by a drunk driver. It doesn't make any sense to me," says Magardino.

According to the University of Rhode Island's website, Crai was president of her sorority, and studied speech pathology while working with children with Autism. Police say Crai is currently in serious condition, but have not specified her injuries.

Olga Lipets, who was also in the limo is listed in fair condition at Stony Brook. Alicia Arundel, another passenger, is listed as being in good condition.
